Good news. I just datalogged two cold cars .. my 2012 (2013 PCM) and the 2014.
Apparantly my car just needed a drive cycle for the newly flashed PCM.
What I noticed was both cars dropped out of open loop very fast .. within a minute or 2 of startup. When we data logged the other night with my newly flashed PCM I'm pretty sure it stayed open loop for much longer.
My Short Term Fuel Trim started at around 3% .. went up to 5% and dropped as CBT increased .. at around 160F it leveled off at -.75% ... so it was just about right on.
I then did the 2014 and it behaved identical .. dropped out of open loop fast .. and was at 3% STFT while idling cold .. I didn't bother waiting for a full warm up.
Jim .. you should datalog your car again and see if your fueling is now correct also.

While this is good news, it still doesn't negate all the other changes in the calibration. There are several things that could affect longevity of the engine, general drivability, and overall engine health.
I cannot say that running the 2013 calibration in the 12 car is 100% safe. If there is a hiccup in the calibration due to some erroneous sensor reading, it only takes microseconds of a lean condition and high spark to cause damaging detonation.
Its not as simple as STFT, LTFT look good, then there is no problem, there are many other factors to take into consideration.
Also, think about evap, there are some changes that could cause the car to fail emissions testing.(For those who require it)
If it was me, I would defiantly flash over to the 12 calibration for peace of mind. Especially when I will provide the tune for no charge.

Speaking of emmission ... I am hoping GA determines year of vehicle by VIN .. because IDS thinks my car is a 2013.
Also .. in GA as long as there is no check engine light it passes emmission. I'll definitely load your tune ... I forgot to ask the other night exactly what you do to make it a performance tune.

When I get back from holidays, I'll look at it.
I picked up a shifter assembly. Should be here when I get back.
After looking at the wiring diagrams, I have 2 choices:
1 - wire it up to have the functioning select shift - a fair bit of trouble.
2 - wire up the select shift button to be the hillside assist button. Probably what I will do. The rest should be fine. Got the shifter from the wrecker for $100 plus shipping.

After ANY tune, the car has to go through a idle relearn proceedure before it runs exactly right. Here is the official process you follow after loading a tune or calibrations.
1. With the vehicle at a compete stop, set the parking brake.
2 Put the gearshift in P (Park) (automatic transmission) or the neutral position (manual transmission), turn off all accessories and start the engine.
3. Run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature.
4. All the engine to idle for at least one minute.
5. Turn the A/C on and allow the engine to idle for at least one minute.
6. Drive your Ford Mustang gt to complete the relearning process.
Could this have had anything to do with the numbers you were seeing.

Well, i am thinking about the same... GT500 adjustable shocks. There is a set on eBay right now....
I am not sure what else is necessary (control module?, cabling?)
On the other hand, i should wait and complete the outstanding projects first:
2013 GT500 cluster
Navigation retrofit
Too much stuff piling up in my garage...

There is an extra module, as wel as some other differences. Not to mention that the info goes through the PCM, so now there is problems with having Shelby programming in the PCM.

Ok. That means 5.4L engine swap ![Screwy](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/screwy.gif)
![Stirthepot](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/stirthepot.gif)
I mean i want to build my engine anyways during the next winter, so i am at the verge of putting a forged shortblock in or a 5.4 swap, so that might not be too much of a difference, if you get a complete drivetrain...

I stopped thinking about the $$$...
easily $1300 for the Nav
$700 for the GT500 cluster retrofit
$1100 for the 2013 GT500 exhaust
$1200 for the 2013 rear
$900 for the 2013 HIDs
and so on....... not to mention the Brembos, 2013 GT500 rear brakes, Supercharger, suspension, wheels, seat covers etc...
Well, i figured out, i can't sell the car anymore. I got to keep it moddin...![Big Grin](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

There's a guy on SVTP who has the Damptronic shocks working on his GT500. From what I recall, he was able to get a great deal of help from Bilstein and set his car up similar to what the '13-14 GT500 development cars had, with a control module and separate button to switch modes.
Any idea if those of us with 2011 cars who swap a cluster can enable the steering adjustment? Is that something we might gain from doing a flash?

You don't have the adjustment now with your 2011? If you do, it is not lost with the cluster, and no programming is needed.
