Ok guys update on the car for the day. I sent an email to Rod today telling as nice as I could that I had to have the car back by no later than Fri. I got a call back this afternoon from him telling me that it will be ready by Fri. I hope so. So looks like I will have to thrash Fri. afternoon to re-mod the car in preperations for the drags and Tech day on Sat.

Lets really hope they come thru. And the thing dosen't blow up on the first hard shift. I hate the sound a transmission makes when it grenades.
Been there done that at least 4 times with those old crappy T-5 trannies. Upgraded to a Tremec after blowing up my 4th one that had been overhauled to world class standards. JOKE Piece of junk!

I think I will mount up the DR's this Fri. and put them thru their paces. Anxious to see the street value of these things.
I will be using my DRs for a while as long as it is dry. If it rains I will be switching back to the regular street tires. I need to run them through as much before Friday night, and I fear that may be very little...
