It's better than stock but could be better still.

Was that politically correct enough?

The flaps are fastened to the rod via 3 rivets at each port. The rivets can be drilled out to remove the shaft. Welding the hole after removing the shaft can be tricky. It's easy to warp the plate which would cause it to not seal properly. The flaps are .018" hardened steel (probably spring steel).16 psi is like placing a 16 pound weight the measures 1" x 1" on the flap in a static condition. This material will not deform under that condition.

That info was off of ModFords This is not my info... someone running 16psi of boost managed to bend something which caused one of the flaps to seal shut and KABOOOM

LMAO!!! Walt was one of my old bosses before going to the DAs office! He's nice as long as you aren't stupid and don't get on his bad side. How did you get hooked up with him anyway?

I think in the long run it's just cheaper and less hassle to get new ones.

I buy guns from time to online at various gun buy sites and he was recommended by a friend. I called him and had him do transfers for me from then on.

Yeah thats where he does the transfers. The little side house has a slightly different address from the main house. Thats what he uses for the ATF records.

Why am I not surprised. I am using a dealer out in Collinsville that only charges $20 for a transfer. Pretty fair price I thought...?

$4240 shipped! Not sure what it would cost to add the aftercooler perhaps an additional 3-400 bucks?

Jarrod that thing looks like it weighs a ton and is stuffed in there. I like the shininess and all but it looks cramped. I would hate to have to change the electric fan or the spark plugs.

I'm still weighing the options. I have some time before the funds and warranty allow the purchase so We'll see what I end up with. But at this point If I were to come into some money I would have to go centri.
