It drives just fine until you get it onto it and go for second. I agree Nothing worse than having no car for weeks and weeks while nothing gets done. As far as I know they havn't taken it apart yet. So I believe I should be able to get it back.

 

My instinct would be get 'firm' info on parts. If they can't give you a parts (lead time) and repair time frame then I'd go get the car and hash it out after the upcoming Ford events. They can repair it anytime. This Shelby show/event only comes once a year. After that you can go back and deal with the dealer with abit lower blood pressure. Did they tell you how long the actual repair takes once the parts are in hand?

 

Well that's just it. I was told last Fri. That the parts should be here on Mon. or today at the latest and then 1 day to repair after the parts came in. At this point I have no idea if they have even ordered the parts. This is another reason that I am getting so fed up.

Well not much you can do when they really don't have good parts info and that might not be entirely their fault if the parts are ordered. On the other hand somebody should have access to parts tracking info. I might call them and say if the car isn't done by. ../../2007 then your going to come pick up the car. Hopefully the parts are in tomorrow and that won't be a issue anymore. Tough situation.

Sorry to hear that David.... I agree with Chris427 I would get a firm answer on parts then decide to go pick up the car... take her to the track and hammer her!!! then bring her back and say this is why I wanted it fixed!! on a serious note I would talk to someone that has pull not just the guy that answers the phone... Bob Hurley himself or Randy... they are 2 that can help you out the most. I hate getting the runaround. I mean I know they are a dealership and have a lot of other priority issues, but all you were asking for was a firm answer on when the car would be ready.
