Hey guys, just wanted to give out some props to Chris and Curtis at Tulsa Dyno.They had my car in today and I was really impressed with the attention they gave to my car even though I am not running some big honkin blower. I was not made to feel like I was at a fast food place get them in and get them out. ( like another place I know of that only deals with you if your a dealership...... anybody want to guess who i am refering to?) Anyway, The tune was great. It still did not take care of my problem but it was not their fault. Curtis did eliminate it down to two possible areas. Bad 02 sensors or harness extensions. He said it they were probably screwed up when the shop ( not theirs) installed the long tubes. So thanks for turning me on to the shop because I had know idea they were around.

hey Kenny sucks to hear about your problem. I'm sure you will get it figured out. We'd love to have you Saturday for Tech day! I want to see those wheels you've got there

Thanks guys. Saturday sounds like fun but I have already been informed that I have plans. It is really a trade off so I can have the next Saturday for the show. You now how it is. Anyway, nobody asked about the numbers. They were not what I was hoping. Curtis told me that they were the best he had seen for the mods I have. Thats like a pat on the back and saying good try.HA,HA. 310 rwh Gotta get a blower. Listening to those guys talk, and seeing a couple of fox bodies( the cars , not the girls) come in to be tuned while I was there just made it worse.Thanks again and cant wait until the show. Have to get back to basketball camp now though.

Ok let me start off by saying that most of you know how impatient I am. That being said I have a new car update for today. Called to inquire of the status of my car with John. He says "Oh you just brought that in on Monday right?". I say "no I brought it in last Wednesday." He says "last wednesday hmmmm well I talked to Benji and he says the parts are not in yet." I say "I have to have the car before the weekend." He says "well let me see what I can find out and if I don't call you back today then I will get with you in the morning."

This is getting rediculous!

1. I call, they don't even know when my car came in.
2. If it was going to take over a week to get the parts before they even work on it then why didn't they order the parts and call me when they arrive to bring the car in for repair instead of me being carless for over a week????????? I really don't understand this one.

What do you guys think I should do at this point. I hate to ruffle any feathers, but this is obsurd.

You need to call and talk to Rod Hurley, the servic department head guy. Yes, it's Bob's brother. Tell him who you are, what club you're with, what happened, and ask what he is going to do to make this better. If he fumbles just ask him if they can call other dealerships to find the parts. John must be slipping or something. You should get the car back if it's going to take them any longer to get the parts so you have something to drive.

Call Randy or Bob himself. I HATE IT WHEN THEY SAY BRING YOUR CAR IN AND IT SITS FOR DAYS BEFORE THEY TOUCH IT!

I just dont understand why they didn't let me just continue to drive it until the parts came in. I swear I have the worst luck getting things fixed under warranty.

This sounds like somebody has fumbled the ball. I'd be slightly ticked myself. I hate to say it but I don't recall what its in for?

Transmission was grinding in second gear above 4000 rpms. on the 1-2 shift and the 3-2 downshift. They ordered new syncronizers, blocker rings and 2nd gear shift fork.

Thanks for the info!

I'd be working this situation for sure. I would hate to hear its still on jacks come the Shelby show. Been there done that.....I'd be making some phone calls. If I didn't get any good answers, I'd pull that car and tell them give you a call when all the parts are in if they haven't torn it apart already. Not a good situation any way you look at it... Is it driveable as it sits?
