Jarrod.......doing well and staying pretty busy..thanks

Will not be able to go Friday night or Saturday,

After doing all that mechanical crap I keep thinking about all the bling I could have done with those $$$$$ , so I decided I will not walk away from my title of "Sargent of Bling" , so the car is at the beauty shop and will be there for awhile.....nothing ever happens on time,

Will go to Mid America but will not show the car at Eds vendor display, Ed has decided to go racing instead of doing the vendor role....he is bringing his Lightening, 2 friends and their reworked Shelby 500 for Hallett and a Stang that does 10s and lifts the front wheels at the drag strips.

Been trying like hell to get with Kurtis to dyno and tune the car but he can't get me for another 2 or 3 weeks,

Will there be a club schedule for Mid- America ? I saw about the photo shoot...anything else like the Peoria drive ?

Paul I am sure we can find someone to get your car to and from the Show On Sun. I would like to get together on Fri if possible. I am taking off Fri-Sun to attend the events. But Fri I don't really feel like driving to hallet so I was thinking we could do a little pre-drag prep and shine em up.

Here we go Im into another realm with this post. I am a supercharged poster on the TMS.

Quick question guys... I have only had one oil change at like 4200 miles. I have not reached 8800 miles and am going to change my oil to sythetic on Saturday. My question is, is it going to be ok for me to race on Friday before the oil change. The sticker Ford put on my car indicating my next oil change is 9200 so they are saying every 5000 miles. Should I change my oil before going to the track friday and if so I will need some help. May sound like a Tard but I havent changed my own oil since my 85 GT. Been taking my car to a quick lube these past years.

Thats a call for you to make. I change my oil abit more often then that but thats my persoanl preference. When thrashing a motor its always good
to have fresh oil in the car but then again were not talking 6000HP so its not as big a deal. I always change my own oil so its not as much a hassle to pick a time to do it. You should be just fine running the motor with the current oil in it since the engine only has less then 9000 miles. Either decision won't make or break your fun night!!! IMHO if it was me I'd have fresh oil in the car!

Jarrod the oil in your car won't hurt anything. That being said it wont help either. A fresh oil change is always a good idea. Especially when you switch to full synthetic as it adds a little power due to less friction. Changing is simple. Drain fluid and remove old filter. Put plug and new filter back in. Re-fill with oil. Drive happy! If you need assistance Jarrod let me know. It's not much different than your old 85.

I've always used full synthetic and still change mine every 3k miles. I now it's over kill but, oil is cheap. Motors aren't...

If you can Jarrod... I'd change it before Fri. Just MHO.

About the oil, should I just go buy the stuff from wallmart (is everything there including the filter?) and take it to a jiffylube?? Remember the car is lowered and i have no way of lifting it unless I make some 2X4 ramps like Paul. Hmmm any suggestions? Oh and what is the stuff I need as far as oil filter and oil goes?? Had a brain fart and forgot

I can bring Paul's ramps to you to use tonight. When are you available?
