Your right Paul I could never be as gross as your gigantor tea bags photo. I might as well stop.

I have a new mod question. Is it possible to disable the CMCV motor with the butterflies in the open position? Rather than replacing them? Jarrod can you bring your old ones on Sat so I can inspect them?

I was reading Taco Bills write up the other day and he mentioned that the CMCV motor harness is no longer needed and he tucked it out of the way as well as removed the motor. It got me thinking if this could be a cheap alternitive to the swap.

I guess removing the butterflies alltogether would be best but it couldn't hurt to see if there might be some use to opening them up permenantly

I want Nav!!! I got lost on vacation and sure could have used it!! Do you have to pay for a subscription to use it or does it just work when you buy it?

I have never heard much on the tune thing Jarrod. Where do you get your info on this from? can you disable in lock in wide open position with the tune. And if so then why would you need a new tune with the CMCV Deletes?

Sounds like the rumor of stops in the transmission. Which I have found to be false!

I'd remove them all together.

Navs are cool. Lord know my wife needs it. Real men use the north star or Rand McNally.

I heard that from other forums that in a tune that the butterflies are put in the wide open position. But even in the wide open position they are not fully open and disrupt the air flow. with the removal the air is allowed to flow smoothly with no turbulance
