I took it out there today. Was asked if I had any chips or anything in it? They told me to bring it back in next wednesday. I hope they have it done by Sat next week so I can attend the show in Yukon? I am worried they are going to try to deny my warranty. Why would having a chip or whatever affect the trans.? I hope this isn't to far out Paul. I hate to wait on the frustrating letter. Do whatever you feel like. I think they might be going to screw me anyway.

 

Made it over. I checked out the calendar on the website. We should be able to make a few of the group events. If things work out we will make the Eureka Springs run. That is always a fun ride.

That sounds cool chris! All we have planned before Shelby is the Yukon thing and perhaps a meet up at the BYB on tues. Might have a tech day for a spring install on my car if your interested in attending that, sometime in the next couple of weeks.

 

The tech day sounds like a good way to meet everyone. Just keep me posted.

 

Paul I took it in and asked for John like Jeff told me to do. He then brought me over to Benji and I told him the symptoms I was having and then John asks me well do you have any chips or anything in it. I replied that the trans was just the way it came from ford. I may as well put the stok air box and tune in it before I take it in next Wed. just to be sure. The only thing they could say then would be about the gears but I don't see how they would know unless Benji says somthing. It really hacks me off as I thought they were more "mod" friendly. Lesson learned if it comes to a big ticket item they will try everthing in the world to get out of covering it. Some things never change. Same thing on my old 94 GT. Auto and the trans started slipping and not wanting to kick into overdrive and they tried to deny it as well. Kept telling me nothing was found to be defective. Even though you couldn't drive it without it slipping and not going into the OD. Go figure!
