One Bullitt is correct. All of the 01 Bullitts are numbered from the factory as will the 08 in some form. It is not going to cost that much more than a stock GT from the word I am getting. They are going to try and keep it affordable. under 34K is probably the goal. The 01 Bullitt package was $3600. So anywhere close to that number and they should be OK.

it should be much cheaper than the shelby gt. you dont need to pay for the third party. and you dont need to pay the additional cost of transportation to and from vegas.

a 07 mustang gt premium w/ the basics added up to 28.5k msrp. add a 5k bullitt package and your at 33.5k msrp or 31k invoice. wait for the rebates, or find a x plan dealer and your all set at 32 or 33 otd!
in 01 the bullitt was hit with rebates after 9-11. in 03 both the svt mustang and mach 1 had 3k rebates.

 

yep i was so wishing i was in the market when i went to my dealer and they had about 10 03 cobras with $3000 rebates.

 

where i'm at, the above scenario w/the 07 Mustang GT Premium will never happen, tried ordering an 07 Mustang GT Deluxe (IUP, anti-theft, and spoiler delete being only options) and all dealers were giving me that 28k price. x-plan? forget about it - not here. not all dealers offer the same rebates either - i do check forddirect.com periodically. that's why i'm boycotting the local dealers, which pretty much means no new Fords in my future. that's why i shudder to think of how much the dealers here will make people bend over to get the Bullitt.

 

was the 28k out the door price? msrp is only 27225! a ford dealer should order a mustang gt for 500 to 1000 over invoice. at 1k over your mustang will be just over 26k. personally i would not order a mustang at anything over invoice.

x-plan was available on the 03 mustang svt, the 03 mach 1, and the 01 bullitt! you need to find a new dealer!

 

nope, that was BEFORE taxes, title & doc. fees. no dealer here will accept x-plan even when available. yes, i've tried ALL local dealers (multiple times in some cases - being hopeful or whatever, i may add) and even tried off-island - it proved to be too bothersome. that's why i went back to the trusty & a little rusty Fox-body. the local dealers have to perform a miracle to get me to even CONSIDER buying from them in the future.
