This is the info I need.
Where to tap into for the ill on the headlight switch and where to get VSS from!
Is the reverse needed for normal operation or only to switch on the camera?

I tapped the illumination wire from the deck into the white/yellow wire on the back of the info/setup/reset buttons. It works perfectly. I think it may be the LED power wire, but it works. The reverse lights you can find under the passenger door sill with some searching, but I just went tall the way back to the actual taillamp at spliced it on there.

 

So did I, Just ran the reverse wire to the reverse light in the back.
