So I have a Pioneer Avic-D1 and I have an Ipod interface for it.

Thing is I use the Ipod thing (plug the Ipod in) and it works for about ten seconds then the unit switches itself to "off"

I have also had the same experience with my Sirius connection. Just switches itself to "off" sometimes.

Have any of you had similar problems?

Thanks for any help.

does it come back on after a few sec. or do you have to unplug the ipod and turn it back on? might be you dont have enough voltage going to the head unit and when you plug in the ipod it takes just enough away that the unit shuts off. im fairly new to this stuff too so i could be way off lol
