I'm sure they come with a clear coat at least.

Sorry you don't like them, but that's only an example of what they might look like. I'm still not sure about the real thing yet.......

I think these are more in keeping with the retro look of the 05 Mustang.....

What do the rest of you think?

I think that style looks good, but it would be cooler if the slots were real thin. I have seen some like that somewhere before.

Well anyways, some of those with some BFG's would look pretty good on a Mustang. V6 or GT....

There is a tire brand called Fuzion made by Bridgestone that has gotten very good ratings. I just got a set of 255/50-17s on my 05 and they cost me $538.15 out the door. Very nice looking tread pattern. Can be bought through Firestone dealers.

I like the extra sidewall protection for the rim edges that these tires give you. Looks a little odd at first, but it should protect your rims at low speed when hitting the curb. They just are not as sticky to the road. On the plus side they will last you 30,000 miles or so.

Mark, was it the size that made you pick the BFG's, it wasnt the top rated tire, however it does sound pretty good, how do you decide if you go to a 55, 45 50 for the profile?

Mark, all you pics are great, i will be definately upgrading to that size, but in reading all the reviews on that tire at tire rack, it seems like there are a lot of very unsatified customers, lot of complaints and quality issues.
As far as wheels go,i ordered the same car as you with the bullitt wheels, i think they 100% better than the machined wheel, and i dont see any need to go to an 18 inch wheel at all, i am hoping the spinner ford is supposed to be selling will fit on the bullitt wheel, should look smokin hot with the bigger tire and the chrome spinner...do you think it will fit, oh and when I get that survey, I dont think i will bea as kind as you, were those limp tires one of Fords " Better Ideas "....lol

I bought the bfg gforce kdws 255/50/R17s for a couple of reasons. The diameter is almost the same as the Pirellies but it is a wider tire. More power demands a wider tire IMO. The Pirellis jumped around a lot on me and I needed a sticky tire.
With more stickyness you get more wear so they will not last as long, but you will handle soooo much better. If you look at the wheel well, there isn't much wider that you can get without going out of the wheel well.

We need picts too.

Put a picture of your rims up man.

Hey Mark,
As you know, I ordered the same car as you a few days ago, also, i had never actually seen the color other than pictures, or heard the 500 stereo system. Well anyway, I got a panick call today from the dealership, the salesmen all thought the mineral gray would look the same as last years gray and very close to the 2003 T-bird gray, well they got their first gray one today, a V-6, and to the salesmen it looked brown in his words and he urged me to come down and make sure i still wanted the gray and they gave me the option of changing the color. It was a rainy nasty day today, and he was right, it definately had a lighter, kind of coppery tinge to it, almost like a champagne color, actually looked like the color swatch in the brochure of the mineral gray, if you look in the brochure, the swach next to the car is definately different than pic of the car. Do you notice any differance in your color under different conditions?, is the mineral gray easy to keep clean?
If i decide to change colors i would have to do it immediatly, I'm torn, plus i would not know what color to pic, i already had a hard enough timt picking the silver. I guess i would consider the redfire, possibly the windveil blue, I like the black but it would be to hard to keep clean for an everyday car....Any help or advice will be appreciated, thanks
