Mineral Gray is Cool.

It hides dirt really well.

In bright sunlight it looks bronze. At Night it looks smokey cool. :worship:

It matches with the bullets real well.

Many folks do not like MG until they experience it.

Buff, polish and wax it and it will never let you down.

I think that the color the salesman thought it was close to was Dark Shadow Grey.

It is more like a smokey silver.

I have an 02 V6 Coup Mineral Grey. I bought MG because I love it. Ford did not offer it in 04 but is in 05. What does that tell you? They must have received a lot of complaints.

If you watched the film Gone in 60 Seconds. Mineral Grey is close to the Elanor Mustang color.

Thanks for your kind words, I'm a little relieved, the dirt part is nice, the bronze may take some getting used to though, I am dabating the stripes, now i wouldn't even know what color to pick, I was thinking silver up to today, now i dont know if it would be a good match, maybe white or black, orrrrrrrrrrr....black out the center section of the hood, add the black shaker hood scoop i saw on one of the sites and black out the spoiler or add the duck tail spoiler. When i was at the dealer today i went to the parts dept. I found out the spinner they sell will go on the bullitt wheels, saw a pic and everything, looked very hot, down side is, cost 90.00 a piece....I dont think so, thats ridiculous. Locking gas cap, 30.00, cargo net, 89.00, flat mud flaps, 11.00 each, everything else was still unavailable.
Where do you get those centercaps for the wheel you were refering to?
Also, i thought the elenor car was more of a darker silver than than the gray, i dont remember any bronze at all, i wonder why it does that.
You really got me hot on the tire change, started doing a lot of research on line, also called 3 stores today about getting a credit, anywhere from 300.00 to 480.00 towards the new tires, now for that decision, what kind and what size, probably going to follow your lead in size, even though i am considering the 275 50 17...trying to pick the brand is a little harder, those funzionZR1's sound pretty good and got a lot of good reviews, good price also, conti's also. Even after tires, i think the rear needs to come down 1 inch.

Those fan blades are pretty cool
I think they are great as well. I will be ordering a set when they are available with the BFG G-force KDW's 255's. Great looking setup.

I bought rims for my 02. My Pirellis are going on it. My fiance drives this car.

The rims have Pony center caps. I will exchange them on my rims. If they do not fit then I am switching rims with the 02. I hope that I do not have to do that because the caps cost 30 dollars apiece from the Ford Racing folks.

Falchion! Were there G Force on those there rims?

Here is my pic of a fan blade.
Yeah 38, those are the BFG KDW's instead of the KDWS's like you have on yours. B)

Those are supposed to be the 18 inch wheels that they are going to offer for 06. I'm not sure if they are going to offer the painted fan blades though.

They will, but you do get better traction with the KDWS's if you are driving through any conditions which need more bite. The extra "S" stands for snow. Not that I'd recommend them for the winter. Had KDWS's when I owned my probe. Good tire, got through the winter.

KDW's are supposed to be one of, if not THE BEST gripping tire on the market.

Small success folks.

A dealer 20 miles from my home is taking off the pirellis and putting BFG tires on their new 05 stangs from the jump.

Discovered this while entertaining buying a V6 for my fiance and trading in the 02.

I wonder if they were getting too many complaints or if Ford stopped putting Pirellis on the cars?

Hmm, that's intersting news! Maybe Ford is worried about the handling of the new Mustang in Winter conditions?

Anyways, sounds like good news for us!

They may have been 255s because I wasn't looking at the tires and I noticed them anyway. I was right up to the car looking in to see if it was a auto or manual, and with my face against the window, I looked down and something made me step back to look at the tires.(They were calling out to me...)
