This whole Heat Shield thing is a big disappointment. I was really excited about it in January.

You Want It When???

Heat Shield, WTF is that? Oh Yeah, I remember now. It's a bent piece of metal with a hole in it that a certain vendor promised and never delivered. A high tech item such as that should take at least another 7 months.

RESURRECTION

Hey Chris,

I purchased one of these off of ebay. It was brand spankin new! My problem is, it doesn't fit my C&L. Did you only make them for JLT intakes? Do you even make them anymore? I'd like one for the C&L, but I don't even see it on your website.

Wow! Old post resurrection!

We only made them to fit the JLT, as the C&L heat shield did just fine for us. We discontinued them all about a year later as other projects interfered.

Errr!

My C&L fits like crap and cause my filter to wear due to the edge of the c&L rubbing. Decisions decisions decisions.

While I would agree that the original plastic C&L shield in not the prettiest thing around it has served me well for over 4 years now. "Bling" isn't all that it is cut out to be you know. If you look back you wil see that I signed up for a Tillman C&L heatshield but it never came to be.
