Yes sir - I hear you loud and clear - my point was Dan Sanchez from Ten Magazine did his own test and got the numbers - yes i was there when it was dyno'd but it was witnessed

The same holds true on our T-body for the 05. Everyone said they dyno'd and saw no power. We said come to the dyno and we will do a test in front of all of you. We got 3 challengers and in all 3 cases we made 8 to 12 hp peak and upwards of 21hp in the mid range.

Then a month later a few guys jumped on the fast idle thing. Out of 1500 t-body sold perhaps 10 called and said the Granatelli T body fast idled. But because some other company has trouble - a few nay sayers group the rest of us in - that is unfair.

You know the saying it takes 10 good posts to make up for 1 bad one

Have a nice weekend everyone - I am going to chill and not sweat all this stuff -

Guys, I'm neither here to take sides nor start a flame war..However after Mr. Granatelli took the time to reply to several of my posts concerning his CAI kit..He also took the time to explain in exact detail, how his system works and if anyone of you take the time to read my posts..You'll discover for yourselves, just how skeptical I was..That is until Mr. Granatelli took the time to answer every one of my questions that I threw in his direction..In fact one of those questions concerned the comparison of his system vs. the combination of a CAI/Flash Tuner..And he did in fact acknowledge that a CAI/Tuner does provide more overall performance and HP. gains, than just his cold air intake by itself..Therefore I believe that Mr. Granatelli is credible..Otherwise why would he openly admit that a CAI/Tuner combo out perform his product by itself..?? This doesn't sound like someone who would not be considered as very credible nor does it make any logical sense..In fact even Jay Tucker of JLT has spoken with Mr. Granatelli about his product and acknowledges that it does function as claimed..As a matter of fact, if you look back at the shoot out article in 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords that tested 11 cold air kits..Mr. Granatelli's product is based upon the same principles as the Anderson Ford Motorsport cold air kit that gained 19 additional HP. with no tune..And this was with an 80mm. Professional Mass Air Meter..Mr. Granatelli on the other hand re-calibrates the factory MAF meter/sensor to his 90mm. intake tube..Therefore, realistically there's no reason why his product shouldn't be capable of producing 16-20 additional HP. with no re-flash required.. Personally, if I hadn't wanted the additional benefits of what only a Tuner/CAI combo can provide..I believe that Mr. Granatelli's product is the best bang for the buck CAI out there, that doesn't require any tuning..IMHO

I would love to get this product, all I'm asking for is a few (not alot) of 05+ testimonials. I can read LOTS of those on other products, why not this one???? That makes me worry a bit. I have to rely on my fellow TMS'ers. You guys/gals have way more knowledge on these types of mods. And the bottom line, if no one speaks up about this product, then I go with one that someone has spoke up about.

We have several dyno graphs - but like you said, at this point mine don't count.

I am happy to do a before and after for any that wants to come to our shop - But the part and I will install and dyno it for free

I also need an auto trans 06 Stang to do a Turbo install on for a MM&FF magazine and Rage pages as well. I will sell the kit, install it and tune it for $5500.00

Joe,
I asked before, but could you please show us the dyno graph with just the CAI, everything else bone stock? A/F ratio would be a nice bonus too. This would "count" for me and a lot of us. Thanks.

Yes sir. Like I said I am working on that. I will post what I have but the numbers are still from my dyno so people will just say I rigged it

I'm sure not enough...I'm in college so funds are pretty tight. At the most I could stretch maybe $3,500 and that's probably nowhere near enough.

Ya know - we did make these parts for the 3.9 but never got very much interest. We sold like 200 and then it died so we dropped it 2 years ago.

I still don't have the dyno computer up but stock was 259.8 @ 5500rpm and 279.1 @ 4000 on torque. With our parts in place - 283.5 at 6100 and 288.1 @ 4000

Was that just the CAI, or was that the CAI and the throttle body?
