My wife and I took a drive out to the coast to escape the heat and smoke in the valley. Newport area was beautiful but the Florence are still has smoke from the forest fires. That's not fog in the picks, it's smoke. Still, any day driving on the coast is a good day.

Know what you mean! It has been awful here as well. Smoke so thick you can taste it. It has been going one for weeks. Feel like we live in LA or something. Can't even see the Mountains that surround us here in Boise. Looks a bit like your pic, I really miss the bright blue sky that summer usually brings. The sun looks like a big red ball in the sky, very weird... We need some rain to wash this out of the air and put out the hoard of fires in the western US & Canada.
You guys make me appreciate the clear skies I have here. You're also reminding me of the skies in the desert back in 91 when the Iraqis set fire to all the oil wells as they pulled out of Kuwait. There was an ugly grey shade to the whole sky for weeks, but at least the sunrises and sets were spectacular.
Fired her up yesterday and drove it up and down the driveway after work. lol (After temps and oil pressure up to normal of course.)
I haven't driven it in a couple of weeks and just wanted to recharge the battery a bit and get all moving parts,well,.......moving. lol
Hope to take her out this weekend.
removed the sound tube a couple years ago and just plugged the firewall with a rubber plug but today I replaced the janky looking plug with a nicer looking grommet
