What did you do with your Mustang today?*
Sounds about right, if the shop is managed properly.
I'm sure some techs just grab the repair order, go to the Parts Dept for the new part, then do the recall outside without ever pulling the car into their bay, since pulling the driver's airbag is easy, and for the right tech this is a 10-minute job that they might be getting paid 20-30 minutes to do.
Some shops might even use these recalls as "filler" jobs while techs wait for customer approval or parts delivery on other jobs.

Um no, 1 is fine if it's the right one.
Ummmmmmmmmmm,..........................pics of said Eleanor, please?!?!?
And a Mercedes AMG for the price of a new Accord? Unreal.
The '07 Saleen Parnelli Jones 302 seemed like a fairly good deal...sure wouldn't kick that out of my garage. But the shocker was the $60K '07 GT500 with just 15 miles on the clock.
Man, there were some seriously nice vintage trucks showing. I thought the AMX was a bit overpriced, but that was a really gorgeous car.

He's never registered it, just been sitting in his garage.
Previous owner's paperwork shows the poor sap bought it in 2006 for $92k
There's a guy who brings his matching numbers real deal '65 GT350 to local shows and cruises....he's owned it for 25 years. Except for a fender repaint, the car appears to be original, and although it's not a DD now, it allegedly had been at one time. He even rigged up the back for baby seats at one time early on in his ownership. It has some light areas of surface rust, a few dents and dings, very high mileage, and he doesn't super-detail it. He has no intention of restoring it. The car speaks for itself and he drives it as it was intended, and IMHO the ultimate example of a survivor.
How much did your friend pick it up for and how did he find out about it?
He has a knack for finding rare cars.
He has a Mystichrome '04 Cobra with 348 miles on it, and TWO constitution orange Cobras, one 100% stock, one modded.
And he just bought a '16 GT350, white with blue stripes.
Has 8 Mustangs plus some other cars.
