Something about the silver outlines on the red just made it pop in person and I was hooked immediately. Went on a mission to find one that day. I honestly don't think I would have bought this combo if it weren't for the silver, if I had seen it just in black and red I'd have probably ended up with kona/white. Glad I got it now though, you actually don't see a lot of them in this combo. You never really have to worry about meeting a car like yours going down the road. I've actually never seen another one like mine in person.

Now I kick myself in the **** every time its been driven once after being washed because of dirt. I forgot how bad it sucks to keep a black car clean, hadn't had one in many years, lol. Good thing I don't drive it much, I'd either go crazy or have to sell it, lol.
It is a really good looking combo. I keep seeing the vert with that combo here. It definitely stands out.

Black is the biggest PIA. I went from black to black though, so I knew what I was getting into this time around. I don't think the DIB would have been much better if at all.

Yeah, I saw those pics you posted of it. Great looking car, lol.

Yeah, I don't think the dark blue would have been much better than black. But the Vista on the SGT was just about about a perfect combo of blue that I loved, but being light enough to not be a pain in the **** like black. If I could have gotten a '11+ Vista 500 with silver stripes I'd have been happy as a pig in poo.

well I got the car out of the drive way even though ther is still snow on the ground most of the roads are cleared out enough to drive and the white cr@p is mostly melted off, and I drove the Stang to my parents place, so my mum could see it for the first time in person and ride in it, she never has been in a Mustang so this was a cool thing I could do for her, she did enjoy the ride also! she also bought me two blank sets of keys (key/fob combo key) and an air filter (of my choosing) that I will pick up tomorrow!

may also do the air silencer tomorrow since its going to be relatively warmer tomorrow...

with the snow melt, the streets are good enough to drive on IMO. There are a few patches here and there but that's not stopping me. Most of it has blown away. Still puddles.

You know, I've never once seen another '13 or '14 black with red stripes, GT500 or regular GT. I thought for sure I'd see at least one or two, especially living in a city the size of San Antonio, but haven't seen a single one.

And yeah, that vista blue SGT was such a gorgeous car. Wish I still had mine.

That's awesome Burton!
We have some serious melting today, tomorrow and on Wednesday in MA. It'll still be a while before the green machine hits the roads though. We still got a TON of snow as well as salt and sand on the roads.
Good luck. I hope you're able to enjoy that beast soon!

I had the car out for a stretch down 169 into Shokopee. I opened it up a bit to do some carbon maintenance. I went to Ford to look at some Mustangs. They have an orange 5.0 with the performance package, it had the black leather Recaro's. If I were in the market to buy a 15, that would have been it right there.

Finally had some weather warm enough I could glue the vinyl door inserts back onto the door panels. Both sides had come partially unglued and was looking pretty sad. Took between 2 and 3 hours to do both sides. Looks much better!

That's great Mark. At least you got to take your machine out.

Roush lower grille delete kit finally installed today, along with HomeDepot-bought black mesh behind it to keep rocks/other debris from hitting the heat exchanger:
