What did you do with your Mustang today?*
The diff cover after I removed it, and after I was done cleaning it:

The nasty fluid:

The RTV applied to the cover, about to be re-installed:

And the cover re-installed:
(the bottom 5 studs should be bolts as well, but I misplaced the factory bolts so I left the studs and nuts on there that were installed with the CHE axle brace that was on the car)

Alternator quit on me today. :-/.
So had to replace with a new one.
Interesting experience. The car acts crazy as hell when it is reading low voltage. I was surprised it kept running till I could get it to where I could work on it.
I went ahead and replaced the belt and cleaned the throttle body while I was at it.

It wasn't too bad. Six nuts/bolts and two wiring connections on the back. I don't think the throttle body has to come off, but it sure gives you more room to work. Plus it is only four bolts/nuts and two connectors as well.
Side tip though, when I got the alternator out of it hole I wasn't properly prepared. I needed to set it down to undo the wiring connections on the back, and so I just set it down in the "plastic" intake manifold. So I scratched my manifold a little bit. Had I just had some rags sitting there it wouldn't have happened. Oh well, live and learn.
