What did you do with your Mustang today?

Made an appointment to have my car re-tuned today.
Will have the L&M twin-66mm throttle body and the BAP installed when I drive over.
Going with a different tuner than the one I thought I was gonna use.
The one I thought I was gonna use is apparently making me beg for his business, he's not returning messages, and not getting me a date.
So I've given up on him and going with a place that's actually much closer and that a friend recently used and was super-impressed with how professional they were and the work they did on his Whippled '14 GT.
So impressed that he's going back in a few weeks to have them install a 2.9L Whipple on his other Mustang, a 2007 GT500.
Thanks Burton.
Exhaust is mostly stock, just different mufflers.
Mufflers are the GT500KR ones ... perfect sound, so we think.
Lots of gurgle/pops from the mufflers when she downshifts or when shifting/letting off the gas.
Supposedly some of that can be done via the tune ... all we know is that all that increased when the TVS blower went on and car got re-tuned.
And no, we don't daily them, but we do drive them as much as weather and destinations allow.
If I know wherever I'm going has a crappy/tiny parking lot, I'll take the truck.

Who/where is that other shop you speak of?
That's awesome about the gurgles and pops on the GT500. My TVS car does the same thing. Love that sound.

A couple weeks ago I was taking an on-ramp at ludicrous speed (OK...45...) and suddenly felt "DDDDDDdddddDDDDDrrrrrr" in my steering wheel. Felt like engine vibrations and I had a pretty good idea that it was my BRAND NEW headers hitting the steering shaft. Pulled over and sure enough:
Only ever happened when pulling to the right. Go left and everything is fine. Took it back to the shop and they used a pry bar on it to get more clearance. The next day, took another on-ramp and "DDDDDdddDDDDDrrrrr". Damnit.
Brought it back to them today to get a little more prying, and as soon as they opened the hood they thought "Huh...wasn't there more clearance last time?" They put the pry bar in, applied some pressure and "THUNK" the whole engine slides over! Turns out the engine mounts had loosened up a little bit and allowed the thing to slide into the steering shaft during hard right turns

Thinking of going with shorter gears for track applications, since I've reached the 200mph mark with it. Either back to stock 3.31's or something a little shorter, though I'm concerned with overpowering the tires with too short of a setup. Going with a custom suspension all the way around once I get the specs from the guy designing it. He's done some racing suspensions for some private parties and wanted to change it up for the Trinity since it's heavier.
