What did you do with your Mustang today?*
I ordered all the parts and the head unit Pioneer 8100 NEX to replace stock radio and dash controls for my 2014 GT/CS Premium. Got a screen protector and anti-glare cover for it. All the install electronics - Scosche FD1441B Dash Kit Factory Gray, an Optic KVC9101R Back-up camera. Package to keep the steering wheel buttons. Did not keep synch as I wasn't using it except for my phone - the Pioneer will do that and control everything else. So I will now have an in dash navigation system - a much better radio - and a back-up camera. All the parts coming within the week. I am not a do it yourself person so found a great installer who really knows his stuff and has been extremely helpful and is very reasonably priced. And thanks to the thread about the radio screen (stock) which I am keeping - I got a custom tinted acrylic plastic piece to replace the mess of the one that is on there now. There is room on the install kit for that screen so I should be able to still get the time and the temperature without monkeying with the head unit. And the weather is supposed to get into the 50's soon so I may be able to bring my baby out of winter storage and get her decked out with her new toys!
Check tracking info, and showed that my wheel adapter has shipped, so the mustang in teh next few days will be getting a real wood steering wheel, sadly I stil don't have the cruise controls but meh, who cares...Can't wait to finally put something useful....ok fun...in the stang!
