Haven't been on any scales, but something is happening. It got cold here yesterday and the Carhartt jeans I brought used to fit. Had to put a belt on with them today to keep them from falling off in the grocery store.

Strange considering I'm on vacation, most people gain weight during that time. Might be because I don't eat for several days because I'd rather drink. Why waste an $80 buzz on a 12 dollar meal, lololol.

Wish I could drop a few pounds. My schedule is so screwed up working shiftwork. Eat meals all at the wrong times. There's just no other time to eat except right before bed or after I finish working. Pants are still the same size so I guess I should just be content by not gaining.

The corn is going to be the hard part for me. I don't eat any fruits and very few veggies. Corn is my favorite, especially corn on the cob in the summer.

Going for a long ride around the island with some folks from work. Probably gonna be a wet one, but better than being in the office.

Can you ever get the Boss in top gear there?

There's a '55 Buick Special for sale near here. Wasn't sure about the Buick until I searched for some pics. Oh my the possibilities. Could really see myself rolling in one if these. Still gonna hold out for a while and see if a '55 Vic pops up though.

I'd hold out for the vic too, but honestly that Buick doesn't leave much to complain about either

I love the 63-65 Riviera. Really want a 50's car next though.

The Vic is a great body. Just hate the side trim. The customline trim is so much nicer. Would have to do a single color with side trim pulled. The black car is a Customline. Same as the Vic without a post.

I don't really know alot about cars from the 50s, but I definitely agree with you that the customline looks a lot better.

I like seeing two tone 50s machines a lot, but I am not sure if I'd ever want one. Also... I mostly hate chrome lol, but thats a whole different issue

good luck finding one!

I'm the same way. I really dig that silver Buick. Thinking satin silver over satin gunmetal gray. Soda blast all the chrome and stainless just to dull it. Or just powder coat it all black. Dunno. Either way I don't anticipate any shine.

Satin silver/satin gunmetal with the blasted chrome. Yes. Yes. Do it!

Have you ever seen/read about the '56 that Troy Trepanier did a while back? My goodness that thing is a work of art. He is a true genius, the stuff he builds just blows me away. The detail in his work is so subtle that you have to scour over to notice, and a lot of times it has to be pointed out. But it all comes together into a masterpiece.

Nice!

The bummer about 50's cars is... they drive like 50's cars.
