I also remember that day. It was the day of the 157 rwhp pull. I was there!!!
And in a few days my 70 Mach 1 will be up for sell here... www.karmustang.com Not sure what their asking price will be but most likely what I would like to get from selling it outright. They should pick the car up in the next week or so when the weather dries out some.

You know I was thinking.... My battery was fried after making those dyno pulls.... Is it possible that my alternator was spinning too fast at such a high rpm that it cooked it?

Cody, I had a PA 200a alternator fry on the dyno at Brenspeed because the pulley on it was too small, after parking the car after the pull it wouldn't start back up. The battery was fine but the alt was fried.

I agree...I think someone transposed numbers. It was really laying down 571 rwhp!! Overspun the alternator.
Poop Gary.... I hope you are okay down there. You made fun of me having to buy a snowblower. At least I don't need to own a fire truck. And you should have bought the 70 from me. It would have been cheaper..............http://www.karmustang.com/product.ph...cat=281&page=1 I can't believe this is most likey going to happen. These people will sell the car faster then I ever could.

If I hadn't bought the R last year your 70 would already be in my garage.
I sincerely hope she finds a good home Scott. I appreciate you thinking of me early on when you knew you were going to sell.

Come home to cops on every corner, helicopters flying around, news vans all over. I can hear the megaphone, the cops trying to talk to the guy.
I have heard he has guns and dynamite.
Me and my son have been bribing the cop at the corner of our house with hot chocolate for updates.
His base belongs to the cops!
Pics, I know, none from me, but here.

I have consigned the car solely to them. We have a contract for 6 months. After 6 months they have first rights to buy the car at an agreed upon price. They shoulder all advertising expenses, car maintainence, damage repairs and any shipping expenses. The car will be kept at their shop in a heated/air conditioned show room in Columbus Ohio. You may see the car on Ebay and a couple of Mustang mags shortly. They have contacts around the world looking for Mustangs. As of Friday a guy from Iowa called on the car as was very interested they say. This is their business and they are good at it. The car is still at my house waiting on the weather to get better. Looks like this coming Friday is the first chance without rain. They have an enclosed car hauler but still don't want to get the car wet transporting it. Now that I have made the decision to sell I just want it to be over with.

Darrel did you go check out any of the One Lap of America stuff? I couldn't cuz I had to work.. But there sure was a lot of expensive rides parked at the hotel next to my store Friday night... Saw a white GTR there and lots of other stuff
I drove by the Tire Rack Track on my way to work yesterday and saw some of it. They will be back next weekend to finish.
My Dr wanted to run some tests on me to check my Diabetes condition. They found 1 - 1/2" ,1 - 1/4", and several smaller Kidney stones. They can't believe I'm not in any pain (other then a sore back all the time). The want to schedule a Lipotripsy to crush them all.
