I got it stuck on the guide rail/groove (that you line the driver side wheels up in) at Speedway's carwash.

Want to bet. I am still driving a 1993 F150 (18 years old) and we just sold 1998 Explorer a couple of weeks ago. We keep a long time also.

Hmm, so does that mean my theory was wrong or just that neither you nor I keep our cars for the same period of time as most?

Either way, I know that driving my '99 for years after it was paid off (and still driving it) is what has enabled me to be able to store my '08 in the winter. Plus, I've always just kinda thought it would be cool if I kept the '99 indefinitely, since it was my first car.

No I just mean that you and I aren't average. Most people around me... family and friends have a perpetual payment I guess. They don't keep anything they drive for more the 3 years. I have one friend that always trade his cars because his warranty is getting ready to run out. You and me aren't the average. The car company's would go broke if everyone kept there cars as long as we do.

Ya, I'm the kind of person that starts suffering withdrawal symptoms if I go more than 6 months without a car payment. It's probably the reason I'll never retire! LOL!

Well guys I got an update on my vacation..........

I was rushed to the ER lastnight due to chest pain. The doctors found that I have Gall Stones and are really stressing that I have my Gall Bladder removed in the next few days. I am kinda thinking the same thing cuz I dont want another episode like I had lastnight to happen when I am in Afghanistan. I will keep you guys updated.

Well I will let you guys know how everything turns out. I am going to be heading down to Nashville and seeing if they will do the surgery down there. I need to get it done. I am in a little more pain then yesterday so I think it is only going to get worse.
