I have a buddy up the road with a large Firebird / TA collection. Roughly 90 cars. So I sent Jay Leno's manager a message that anytime Jay is in town, I can get him in to see the collect (since Jay is of course a huge car guy). The manager said that he would let Jay know. That was last year.

Jay is in town today for the MotoGP and a couple weeks ago I sent the same message to his manager.

Friday night I get a call from Jay - but I had the phone off. He left me a message that he was in Vegas and his visit to Indy for the race was short - and that he had to fly back to record The Tonight Show. So he would not get to see the cars, but thanked me for the invitation.

Wow - that was really nice of him to take the time to personally call me. Trying now to figure out how to save the message off as an mp3?

Got a Mic on your pc? just record it off your phone on speaker.

I did once, came out fairly well.

I tried to go back and see the number, but since the phone was off - it didn't show a number...

No mic - but I have a couple buddies that are good at that sort of stuff, so maybe they can help...

Ok- here is a short video (audio) of the message...

Sort of a lame attempt, but I think you can make it out.

Sweet love the by-by at the end.

Starting my last 2 weeks of vacation today. hoping to make a couple of car shows, the Tire Rack Mustang day is this Saturday, I want to do a little camping at Potato Creek, plus my Mom has somethings that need to be done.

Nick and Cody

Car shows at ST.Joe Mich Thursday night no entry fee plus the 1st 200 cars get a $20 gift card for the downtown stores.
Friday night downtown South Bend Tailgate party Car Show. Also Saturday morning the Mustang club has the track at Tire Rack rented for solo runs.

Scottie

Tom

You discover the Flats yet in Cleveland?? (west side of the river)

Ahh! dangit! I'm leaving for Eurpoe friday. Gonna miss all the fun here in the states.

more info on that: Going Ukraine for 10 days on a mission trip. should be pretty intense. worst part, missing the first two weeks of college football.

Yes I did. I am running my new American Muscle tune. It's power and the shift schedule is awesome. Even after making the trip up to upper Indiana (wink, wink) the shifting still had some weird spots in it that I didn't care for. This AM tune has none of that, better midrange power and much faster throttle response.

hahaha... it is a free trip. one of the reasons I'm going. I'll likely never get a chance to go anywhere like this again.

Scott, good to hear you're finally happy (for now).

Cody, be careful out there...... have a safe and fun trip.

Darrell, nope haven't been to the flats yet. I don't really do much after work other than go to my hotel and cook dinner/watch tv.

Stay out of the flats....no place for a married man that is living away from home.

Okay.....I am about tired of issues of any type. I am truely happy with my new American Muscle tune. Like I said it is Awesome!!! However....I bought a set of Brisk sparkplugs when I went to Brenspeed's last week and put them in the car last weekend. So I have gotten a check engine light 3 times this week. P0300 (ramdom misfires detected) So WTF??? Is it the plugs??????? Is it the tune or the plugs????? I am leaning toward the $140 set of plugs.

I have had zero issues with my Auolite HTOs and I've had then on the car both before and after the supercharger install.

They are a two piece plug though.
