Thanks everyone

Tom (the interviewing guy) was surprised I brought up about that job lol. He said he would call Deans about it and see what he can do.

Nope.

So I came home tonight and put my high buck computerize battery charger on the battery. Well the first cycle it went thru was from 5% to 64% in about 1 1/2 hrs and started flashing "Bad Bat" So I started in over and it is now up to 75% in about another 1 1/2 hrs. It isn't going any further it seems. The battery is a stock Motorcraft battery replaced in March of 08. The good news is it has a 3 yr. free replacement. It should be interesting when I call the Ford dealer tomorrow. I have my receipt so that shouldn't be the issue.

And "YES" Glenn it is a Ford!! :-)

I did the same thing about 8 months ago for a 10' Vert. No way is was worth the $42,500 price tag. $11K more than I paid in '05. I'll keep improving what I have. BTW, got a new Motorcraft battery on Ford's dime today. All seems well so far. Guess we will see in the morning.

To be honest, pricing out a new '11 has me thinking if I spend that much coin, just pickup like an 08 or 09 GT500.

Good to hear about the battery Scott.

Yeah, I would look for a nice lightly used GT500 instead of going for the new car. You would lose so much money on the new car it's insane. At least a GT500 will hold its value better.

I drove the 'stang to work today since our buses are parked for spring break and it was so nice out I couldn't resist. On the way home I had a dude toying with me in a Cadillac CTS V, it had an exhaust and was camming like crazy. It looked fairly innocent until he went flying by me. Then he slowed down to try and get me to run him, but I don't mess around much on the street. I save it for the track.

Why yes it was. Drove the car today with the new battery and all seems fine. Washed the car "quicky style" on the way to work this morning. At 5 AM. Was 81 degrees on the way home.....what a beautiful Verting day. I will start the Steeda spring and Koni shock and strut install this weekend as time allows!
