Still no Stang from Ohio in my garage. **** shipping companies keep changing their minds on what they will or wont do. Wife was supposed to go look at it and get it into storage this past weekend but that didnt happen due to having rental car problems. So it has been one helliva month so far.

The house hunting in KY-TN was a flop. So I dont know what is going on there. We are still planning on moving back east just might be a little bit longer than what we really planned on.

Hey Dirk. It will all work out for the best in the end. I don't remember if you said but are you from the Ky-Tenn area originally?

No I am originally form California. Moved out of that forsaken state when I was 20 and joined the Army. During which I relocated to Nevada. I was stationed at Fort Campbell and thats when I fell in love with TN-KY.

Now for the rest of my day.......

My day wasnt too bad. I got a lot done to the aircraft we have in right now but then I got back to the room and was told this......

Well I just got word that my Taillights showed up Yesterday!!!!
the wife said that they are a little dusty but seem to be in like new condition.
Will have pics tommorrow.

Now onto some bad news........

I was just told that the F350 got backed into by our tractor. It was an accident so I am not mad about it at all. Will post pics of the damage when I recieve them.

Also was just told that one of the back windows on our F250 has been broken out. The wife said it reminded her of a gun shot by the way that it shattered. I will have pics of that as well.

Anybody ever have a problem with their ignition?? It starts fine but when I turn it off I can almost have the key in my pocket before it shuts off (2 seconds). It doesn't diesel it just runs another couple of seconds after the key is turned off.

At this point, I'm 1/2 tempted to just wait a year and buy an '11.

You have to ask yourself WWGD?

Gary would do this.

Sounds like a good plan to me.

I gotta say...
I think a Terminator or an 11.. Both would be excellent decisions

But at least with an 11, you'll have a warranty, although Terminators are fairly bulletproof...

What's funny is right now even a big discount on a '10 sounds half decent since I know I could put a blower on it fairly cheap. Not sure what the '11 potential and/or cost for a blower will end up being yet. There's a used '10 not far from me with all options including glass roof which is killer, and like 1600 miles on it but they want like $32k for it. I told them I was going to wait for an '11 and get a 5.0, which they denied knowing anything about. Later in the conversation, they admitted that the '10 we were talking about was a trade-in from a good customer that just ordered his '11 with the 5.0. Friggin' moron salesman, made me laugh though.

My whole fixation on the Terminator is the motor. I like the looks, don't mind the interior although it could be more comfy obviously but c'mon it is a Mustang. The engine in those cars is awesome, and the T56 is pretty decent too.

I just think with a 2011 5.0 it would be fun because you wouldn't be in such a rush to mod it. You can't be. There won't be much out there for a year or so. Then in a couple of years you'll see all kinds of stuff. That's kind of what you did with the '06. I came in at the perfect time with my '07. I had a ton off stuff to pick from and knew what I wanted. But with the 2011 you might wait a few months and then get a CAI and a tune. Then maybe a driveshaft. Then a few more months and there will be something else. If you get a Terminator or a 2010 you'll be wanting to throw everything at it all at once, because you can and because the stuff is easier to find. IMHO

It was like that with me on the Fox. Where do I start? I've got so many parts I don't even know which ones to put on first.

While I like the '11 because of the 5.0 I hate that Ford still put the crappy crank, rods, and pistons in it. Okay if it if you stay N/A but closer to breaking than the 05-10's in the stock form. So if you want to go F/I I would think your gain is going to be smaller if you want to be safe. Am I crazy?

there will be a ford racing sc available for the 5.0... so have a dealer install it, itll be covered by warranty, so if it pops, not your problem.

You know my story with a SC'er. I would go some way that had a forged bottom end. Why do you think the Termi's are so indestructible? It ain't because of their crappy rotating components. How would you like to buy a SC'er for an '11 that is good for 50 rwhp?
