When you ran the 200amp alternator on your car did you just buy another cable? Did you use the fusable link on the orginal or just bypass it. My cable is becoming brittle and I want to change it out.
Thanks Darrell

Just got back from the airport! Gotta run and pickup some Easter stuff for the kids but then after that, it is celebration time, LOL!
I went to a local audio/video store and bought some 4 gauge cable and replaced the stock wiring. Silly as it sounds, I did not use a fuseable link as I have never been a fan of them for this application; so it was just a straight shot from the alternator to the battery.
If you replace the wire like I did, just be careful on how you route it; if you get it too close to the cam position sensors it can make them throw a code, 2040 if I remember right.
I used 2ga wire I got from Advanced Auto. Then just crimped the lug ends on. Actually crushed them in a Vise. I'll watch for the code, can't remember how I routed them. Also after the rain stopped I got the fuel filter changed so I'm good to go for Monday at Brenspeed.

Hey Darrell,
Where exactly is that fuel filter in ours cars? Mine in up in the air doing springs and shocks so I might as well change the fuel filter.

Really? Let me know.....
I crushed mine in a vise too, gave them a good tug to make sure they were good.
Driver's side towards the outer side of the car. Think there is a cover over or around it.

Yeah, a long black plastic cover under the drivers seat area under the car of course. I had to replace mine. It got hung up on the alignment rack at work when I was backing it off and got ripped apart. Darn lowered cars!
The long black box under the Drivers side. 4 10mm nuts and bolts and 2 Christmas tree plastic thingees. The filter was about 10 bucks from Advanced auto. Get some rags and release another 10mm bolt. Then push both green tabs and pull the lines off. Push the filter out of the black holder and replace.

Finally got the ducktail on - opinions please - put the MUSTANG letters back on, or leave them off. I am on the fence about it. They are just taped on there in the photos, so they are not necessarily straight or spaced right...

Would like to get close to that if I can....... as it sits but with the audio system removed. Would take less than that if the buyer would want the stock bumper and not the Cobra.
Happy Easter Darrell!
Yeah Lance what's up with that?
Me personally, I kind of like them.

Interesting - one vote for each. Hmm... I wonder if I can attach a magnetic backing to the letters. Then I can put them on or off depending on my mood at the time.

I'll vote for off too. It looks really busy with them on.
