Nah, I don't get along with overtime. Someone's gonna get a swift kick in the nads if I gotta work longer than I'm supposed to. I did have to work a wreck the other night though. A stupid drunk who just couldn't believe we were arresting him for DWI since he wasn't drunk. He blew a .158 and a .174 bac at the jail. Luckily it was a single vehicle accident. His poor VW.

 

Well, the snow didn't last long anyways.....

A guy at work tried to buy one and couldn't get them to come down for less then 41K on it. So, he didn't buy it.

 

LOL! I wish it was a black ops program. Naw...Six Sigma is this quality/optimization training that's goal is to make you make a product so it works 99.999% of the time through engineering or manufacuturing processes.

I do a lot of listening and eating while I'm there. More food at this training than at most weddings!

I'm looking forward to this years TMS drive though! Wanna driiiiiiive!!!

Haha! You do remember my regular shift is 10hrs right? I'll keep what I got for now.

 

That's a long shift, I know the nine hours I work during the week seems pretty long. But, I also work the weekends!

 

Yeah, luckily I work 4 days with 3 days off. It is sweet!

 

See...no problem then. Work the other shift on your 3 days off, with only one day you get 4 hours of sleep.

Then you'd be in that snazzy GT-500, and I'd buy your CAI off your "old" Mustang.

Speaking of sleep, I got one less hour last night due to Day light savings time!

It's not so bad if you have the weekend off, but if you work like me seven days a week, then you don't have the time to transition.....

 

It's still bad even if you have weekend off but, I'm sure it's even worse in your situation. Are you working on the F-35? I have a friend over on DFWStangs who is an engineer (flight controls I think). He took me on a tour a few weeks ago. There is some pretty cool stuff in there.

Yes, I've been back on the JSF Forward fuselage for over three week now, back to the same group, and even the same desk!

And making a lot more money then unemployment!
