Ya...both our sales guy and the manual says 5000 miles because its a synthetic blend oil. People on the forums are saying between 1000-3000.

Yeah, I guess it's better to change it earlier then 5000 miles. Better safe then sorry?

The manual says 5000 miles so I don't think it should be a problem. I have 3600 now and my service guy made no mention of it so I'll wait till then.

The front end on my car seems to be much better off now. No popping and seems like it is tighter and tracks straighter. If you are having the popping problem go get it fixed.

I haven't noticed any problems on my front end. How many miles did you have on it before you noticed it Tread?

I wanna say it was around 1200 miles when I first noticed the popping.

Tread's Mustang is older than ours. Its quite possible that you already have the strut mount. I wouldn't worry about it just yet.

I'm taking mine to the dealer on Monday though. I've had enough of the door rattle. Its something INSIDE the door. Probably somebody's watch...

DFWCC is having a carwash tomorrow at Amercas Best Coffee, 3751 Matlock in the Costco parking lot. They are trying to raise money to start the get togethers back up. It is from 9am to 7pm.

There is also a car show at the Hooters on Little Rd in Arlington on Sunday from 11am-2pm. I might head down to that one to see what's there.

Maybe that rattle is an empty beer can from the Factory?

No problemo. I ended up not going anyway since I had the kids and they had other ideas. Went swimming since it was so hot.

Got the car back from Five Star. Interior is solid now...no rattles from the door. They found a loose bracket and put some more insulation in another spot. Only when I hit decent bumps now I get the glove box rattle which sounds like the door rubbing something. I'll have to try some rubber or felt bumpers on the door.

I'm back! I'm back!

Don't ask me how, because I have no idea. The site just started working again for me.

I'm so glad to see that the Fort Worth crew is holding strong.

A little update, I dropped the 05 off at the body shop yesterday. I've taken it to Master Europa off of White Settlement across from Autobahn. Looks like a great place (There was a freakin' Rolls in the shop getting worked on) and I've never had that level of customer service from a body shop. I'm confident that it'll be as good, or probably better than before.

Holy cow Batman! Blake is alive. Glad to see ya made it back. Did they say how long it will take for your car? You gonna go back stock or put that Xenon kit on it?

Ghost- Glad you got that rattle fixed. Too bad there wasn't a nice Rolex in there for ya. I think I have the glove box rattle/squeek too. Can't tell exactly where it's coming from though..

Falchion- Did you by chance come over to the other Lockheed building off of Academy this morning. I saw a LL Mustang at the corner of White Settlement and Academy about 9:40 this morning. It pulled into that complex but, I didn't get a good look at to see if it was you.

I know, can you believe it?

They said they would shoot for the end of the week (Maybe Friday), but it'll depend on getting the parts on time. I'm definately putting the Xenon front bumper cover on it.

I don't think it needs all that other junk (side skirts, rear, mirrors, ect.), but I think it'll look great with this concept-ish front on it:

I don't mind the front bumper, but *yuk* to the rest of the Xenon kit. Congrats on coming back... now you can troll here again, Blake.

If there was Rolex there Tread...they kept it. Oh well...I'll live with my warranty paid for fixit...the Rolex can be a bonus for 'em.

Yeah, I drove over there for an internal job interview, but I didn't get it anyways.

Glad to see that Blake is back!

Well sorry to hear that Falchion. They were probably just jealous of the Stang!

My doctor released me to full duty today so I guess I'm gonna have to start working for a living again. If I can remember how that is !
