somebody mentioned powdercoating earlier in this thread..i have one on the way i bought used..i searched the net and their are companys out their that can chrome plastic..im going to get ahold of a few of this companys.. i got mine for less than half price so im going to see if they can chrome this cover for me...maybe ill just be wasting my time but what the heck....ill let you know...jerry

 

Hey everyone! Thanks to all of you guinea pigs who tried this first and for all the ideas! I have been lurking for a while, watching, waiting, and now finally I have joined this club of plenum cover fanatics! Here is my rendition. I must say, I didn't get the badges exactly square, but unless you are right on top of it, you can't tell. So, let me know what you guys think!

Yes, the steeda brace BARELY touches it in the front, but it isn't bad, and there is play between the cover and the actual plenum. I even put lil tiny felt pads under the strut tower, and the came off, so i think it doesn't always contact it.

does any one have the intake cover installed with a ram air hood , i want to get one but i am worried about it rubbing on the under side of the hood [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif[/img]
