What are yall using to stick the emblems onto the cover?

 

I don't have one yet, but I was planning on using some heavy duty double sided tape or high heat epoxy.

 

I drilled holes for the pags , plus I used silicone. No problems at all

 

Just placed my order. I decided to go with the silver cover. Not to keen on the looks of the sonic blue to match my car. I will probably paint the raised lines sonic blue but the entire cover in blue is too much for my liking.

 

You also might try Kevin the parts guy, check out the stick thread, that is were I got mine.

 

Wayne, where did you get that beautiful decal (Mustang GT) for the JLT CAI tube? I want one for mine!

Hi, Thanks, I got the decal off eBay. The seller has a good selection of Mustang and or Mustang GT decals. The one on the JLT is a 7"x2". The size in his auction is 5"X1.5", and I got one of those for my airbag cover.
He will make you whatever size and color you want! Very easy to deal with too, just have to send an email and tell him. I think I got them in 3 days.

If you want any others he has an outrageous selection of everything you can think of.

got my intake cover today, man that was fast. Car won't be ready until next weekend now but that gives me lots of time to figure out what I am going to design on this intake cover. Must say, very nice quality.

where are you guys ordering the ponies from?

 

There is a link to the silver pony emblem on page 6, last post. How are you guys putting on the emblem? I am thinking of using silicone, I sawed off the little pegs to make it flat and now I am just wondering how to put it on.

 

I ordered mine from Kevin the parts guy. I marked the pegs, drilled the cover and used the push nuts that came with the emblem. It is the grill ornament off of a 94 Mustang. The 05 is a little long still fits just hangs out past the ribs on the cover.

You also might try mustangs unlimited. I got the 4.6 from them and cut off the high performance.

Here is mine. The same as others have posted but thought I would add another Windveil Blue. I really like it. Wish it wasn't coverd up by the hood!
