Installed my intake cover today. I had this emblem hanging around from a previous project so thought I'd give it a try.

I finally got the flaming Pony to complete my intake plenum cover. How's this for a slightly different treatment?

Had a local decal shop make them up for me. It was as close to the original font as we could find.

I am getting a Black GT, so I want to go with a black intake cover with GT delete. I plan on putting the 04 running horse emblem for a good contrast with the black cover. I have not seen any pictures of a black cover installed. Has anyone installed a black cover, if so can you show us some pictures? Thanks in advance.

Ordering a Black w/GT this Tuesday. Hopefully it wont take to long to arrive. If you can wait that long, I will certainly post some pics.

Sonic Blue looks goog! Matches the JLT CAI as well. I like it.

I think a chrome running Pony in the center front would really set it off!

It's a grille Pony for 99-04 Mustangs and I got from Latemodel Restoration Supply. Here's the link:

I've got a question for people who already have their covers. I ordered one yesterday and was planning on using an '05 Stars and Stripes pony on it. I see everyone is using older model ponies. Are they smaller than the 05's? Is the '05 pony too large for this cover? Thanks in advance for your responses.
