This may not belong here and I'm sure someone will tell me that rather than answer.
But, here goes do you suppose the plenum cover will fit an 06. Don't want to miss out but, I'm also afraid that it will be a waste if my car isn't built in 05?

I'd say that's a safe bet that it wil fit an '06 and if not - you can always sell it to an '05 owner. Perhaps Ford will surprise us and include the prototype cover on the '06's......
Mine just arrived today and it actually looks better than I thought it would
The black paint is high quality and the entire cover is more "substantial" than I thought. I'm going to paint the "GT" silver and will install the cover tonight (may have to fabricate it a bit to fit under my Steeda strut tower brace).....I've also been polishing the valve covers a bit at a time (still on the car) and they are turning out pretty nice too......would be much easier off the car - but the Eagle One metal polish rags and Mothers Metal polish are doing a great job.
I'll post pics once everything is install and looking good

I think the '05 has one of the cleanest bays. It's a sinch to work on compaired to most everything else I deal with.GTJeff, I'd be afraid to drive the car if my engine was that clean. Heck, your car looks like a show piece.

don't get me wrong, I still like the car, but I wouldn't call the engine bay a masterpeice or anything like that.

Looks Great...
Like the braided line too.. What size did you use?
How about a picture outside with more light...

I plan on using another 3/8" hose for the radiator overfill tank, and doing at least the left upper radiator hose. Then figure out what size I'll need for the other PCV hose (the one that has the foam around it) on the right front cam cover. I've always thought braided hoses with the red/blue fittings on the end looked cool on old school muscle cars, and this is a relatively inexpensive alternative
