Hi, Thanks, I got the decal off eBay. The seller has a good selection of Mustang and or Mustang GT decals. The one on the JLT is a 7"x2". The size in his auction is 5"X1.5", and I got one of those for my airbag cover.
He will make you whatever size and color you want! Very easy to deal with too, just have to send an email and tell him. I think I got them in 3 days.

If you want any others he has an outrageous selection of everything you can think of.

I am getting a Black GT, so I want to go with a black intake cover with GT delete. I plan on putting the 04 running horse emblem for a good contrast with the black cover. I have not seen any pictures of a black cover installed. Has anyone installed a black cover, if so can you show us some pictures? Thanks in advance.
I installed mine this morning. Used 1/8 pinstriping tape to block out around the rails and spray painted the rails red. Added the pony and now I am looking for red letters to put "powered by Ford on the sides.

Any rubbing on the cover from the Tower brace?

It is TIGHT for sure but it is workable.

Well, I am partial to black and red mixed. That looks sweet!

I like it too and almost took this unit, except one day every vert had its top slashed at a curling club here.

Ok, everyone. Listen up, especially the folks in Canada. I am selling my Intake cover. It is silver and I only added the "powered by ford" lettering. It has been on the car for 1 week. I am getting the CDC shaker so I can't use the intake cover anymore. If you are interested let me know. After paying duty, shipping and exchange it cost me $282.34 not incl the lettering. I will sell it for $200.00 (canadian funds)

Figured I would chime in and post mine..

I used valve cover gasket sealer (light grey in color) to secure the pony on the cover.

Duckman, those red ribs look good. I was going to try coloring mine with Sonic Blue touchup paint, but all I have now is the brush bottle, and I'm afraid it'll go on too un-evenly. I'm going to order a spray can of Sonic Blue and might use your pinstriping tape idea. I've already got the '05 GT emblem on the front, did that last week.
