What did you do with your Mustang today?

240 lb ft IIRC. Where'd ya get the cheater? I'm looking for one, but haven't found much, so was thinking I may just need to DIY some steel pipe or is that what you did?

Mailed off an oil sample to Blackstone. It’s the 5W-20 factory fill taken at 3,500 miles showing 60% remaining on the oil life monitor (OLM). I added the optional total base number (TBN) test which costs an extra ten bucks. The engine was broke in naturally aspirated for the first 1,000 miles, then the Roush SC was installed. Since I’m not convinced that the OLM takes forced induction into account, I decided to see where the oil quality/life remaining actually is.

I went to my local hardware store and got a steel pipe about 3ft long( OBI in Germany). My torque wrench only goes to 175 so I did that and then gave it about a 1/2 turn with the pipe.

Lucky man!!! I'm on a telecon right now, on mute. Chiming in when I can to keep folks in line. I'm so jealous. Wish I was out there driving (or detailing!!! or taking photos!!! ) my car right now...

the quad tips I got didn't fit and will be more than I expected to have someone weld them on and make necessary adjustments to make them fit. Can anyone tell me if the Corsa gt500 quad exhaust will work or a v6. Says it's only for gt/gt500. Or are the stock gt500 takeoffs easier/direct swap?

Thanks you both for the answers. I got the valence installed yesterday. Only to then find out the quad tips won't work on the Roush mufflers without serious changes(wrong angle, length and height.) so I'm looking to sell the tips and roush for a different AxleBack that has quads already.

Sorry Sean, I should have clarified in my post - any of the GT axlebacks *with quad tips* will fit with minor alterations. I know the single tip axlebacks do not line up. I should have told you that ahead of time, but I didn't know you were going in so soon. I think you'd be happier with the Corsas anyways, but the quad tip axlebacks are pricey!

I haven't either, Joe is thinking about them for his V6. We're having a little trouble tuning the drone out of the Solos on his V6. I'd probably go Sport though, as the louder mufflers just sound too raspy for me on the V6 (like say, the extremes).

Good to know. The drone doesn't bother me a whole lot, but less of it would be great. And yes, I was looking at the sports.

hmmmmm
Corsas are junk, don't go with them. I absolutely HATE mine.

I was waiting for you to chime in Burton!!! I guess I may have to rethink my decision then lol

Sean,
Ok, maybe I should have had a bigger "jester" face on my last post.
I think you knew that I was joking, at least I think... but now I'm not so sure
So given that, just know that I changed my avatar just for you, to prove a point.
I "hate" it so much, it's my avatar.
hint: I absolutely love my Corsas, and they're God's gift to the Mustang exhaust world.
Seriously though Sean, congrats if you're going Corsas. You won't be disappointed. Can't say how it sounds on a V6, but, at least quality and fitment you will be taken care of.

Haha I knew you were kidding! I was joking about my post too! I know you love yours, so if I go that route, I'm sure I'll love em. If I do, I'll have four tips to drool over rather than two :P lol jk!

Uhhh...you wure you're not confusing that with like...a wheel hub? The factory torque spec on the UCA is no where near that -- 129 ft-lbs

Finally ditched the ugly orange side markers.
