if it doesn't rain tomorrow I'm going to try in the plastic door trim & not the steel , I'm not keen on a hole but if it's in the bottom a repair if needed is easy. I'll take picks what year is your car ?, also can I send a friend request ?

I was wondering if they would work there too....but i think it would just shine into the car instead of on the ground when u open the door.

Those valve covers look really small for a real Mustang, you need moar motor.

Supposed to be sunny and in the 50s tomorrow. Think I'll get the 500 out for a blast around, may get both of them out if I have time.

Steeda has one, or you could do an 07-09 GT500 (which the Steeda is very similar looking to)...

All the ones I've seen fit, but they jam hard against the hood liner, almost to the point of making the hood hard to shut so you have to force it down or actually bowing it up when you do shut it. And I really don't want one with some aftermarket name stamped all over it, even if it is Steeda. I like the crooked one that goes around the front of the blower from FRPP but from everything I've seen, it is a tight fit and jams up against the hood on models like mine.

Too much motor, not enough engine bay. First world problems I guess, lol
