The best part is you lost weight too. I gained 50 pounds the last time I quit smoking for a long period of time back in 2007-2011 I think it was.

Did you start smoking again?

I still vape. But I've cut way down on the nicotine there too. When I quit cigs and started vaping, I was using 24mg liquid and going through a 30ml bottle every 2-3 days. Now I use 6mg liquid and a bottle lasts 5 days. Gonna keep going down to 0mg and quit that too eventually.

The difference in my health is massive. When I quit smoking I couldn't walk quickly but about 100 yards and I'd be completely out of breath and have to sit down and rest. Now I can walk 4 miles in an hour and not even be winded, and do it 4 times a week or more.

Your family must live close to mine. Have some family in the Calhoun area that are Seventh Day Adventists. One of them knew him so well, he was a consultant for the movie.

Let's see

I quit from 2007-2011 then started again until I had my surgery in May of 2014. Then quit again and started up last year again. Mine startups are either stress related or as a result of drinking.

If I quit smoking I will have to quit drinking because I can't drink without a smoke.

But the reality is i smoke because 6 kids and the financial burden and parental responsibilities eat away at me and stress me out.

That sucks, I was really proud of you for quitting, it actually gave me hope that I could quit. I actually felt bad about myself when you quit and I hadn't and couldn't, felt like less of a man that you did it and I couldn't.

I hope you can quit again. You should really try vaping, I think you could give them up if you find the right hardware and liquid.

That was the hardest thing for me, drinking. It was just something that had always went hand in hand, if I had a drink, I wanted a cig at the same time. No, needed a cig. I still from time to time really crave one when I'm drinking heavily.

Diesel vs gas. I don't NEED a diesel, but I want one. I'd come up with reasons to need it. But Jesus H...I don't know if I'll ever be able to afford a new truck like this. These prices have gotten insane.

Even an F-150 XLT...

It's incredibly ridiculous

I'm glad I got my 2016 F250 and it's gonna have to last me a very long time

It is a sticker at $63,000 which was the same as my 2013 GT500.

And I will never own a King Ranch or Platinum. XLT Lariat has always fit my level of comfort just fine.

Honestly XLT would be fine with me, but I hate how Ford makes you buy a Lariat to get the good headlights now. And the thing that bugs me about the Lariat is the fake wood trim. Therefore, either XLT and find some takeoff LED headlights, or King Ranch for me. I always loved the King Ranch saddle seats, but Ford got rid of the saddle leather years ago and replaced it with chocolate brown leather - I'm sure to appease the urban cowboy whiners that complained their leather was wearing out (due to them not properly conditioning it).

True I guess at that time a lot of the people that were here like POTR , a good example Taco Bills mods & all the links that Used to be herein how to , were so helpful to so many. They are all gone now as well. So thingshave changed that much here since I'd joined in 2004 , at least it's not a soap opera eh ! Lol

Sticker on my husband's 2015 350 King Ranch diesel was $71k but the dealer was trying to move it off the lot and sold it for the base price which was a little under $57. He wasn't looking for anything that fancy. XLT Lariat diesel dually would have suited him fine, but he couldn't pass up the deal on the King Ranch. And every truck he gets he swears it will be his last and that he'll have it until he dies because he will never need another one, lol

I'm not crazy about the King Ranch interior either.....but he loves it and it's his truck

Lol yeah I can live with the brown leather but I'd prefer the older Saddle style.

I'd absolutely love a new F250, but I got a killer deal on my '03. It sucks for interstate driving (bounces all over the place due to heavy duty springs), but I really love the truck. It just sorta fits me (better than the Mustang does anyway, lol). You always can find something to use a truck for, I just wish it didn't get single digit mpg's around town.

Honestly I never even noticed I had fake wood trim.

I still don't know but if you say I do I guess I do.

Honestly I could do with a base XLT just fine. All the rest of the crap is for the kids and the wife because they are with me a lot of times. I've had a moon roof before. When I ordered the Raptor I specifically ordered it without one because I just don't care about them anymore. But with the Superduty is was part of the Lariat Ultimate package and I wanted the other stuff it came with. And like Mr. Jill it was on the lot and they had 3 of them just like mine and wanted to deal on a 2016 in November of 2015 to the tune of $12,000 off so I did it. I love this truck and wish I had gotten in years ago but then again it would be old now if I had done that. The only problem I have is that you can't imagine the number of all black F250 XLT Lariat 4x4s in my town. I see a truck like mine at least 3 or 4 times a day. I did debadge the sucker that night by taking the FX4 stickers off the side of the bed. I hate those **** things. Trucks don't need stickers.

The fake wood in the Lariat doesn't bug me THAT much because they use a flat finish, so it's pretty good as far as fake goes. I'm not really a sunroof guy either, but the new 2017 SD has the same pano Glass Roof that the 2015+ F-150s offer, and that I want. But again, even on the XLT, they make you upgrade to the highest trim package to get the Glass Roof. Annoying!

I agree, I'd pull the FX4 stickers off immediately. I'm all about the new SD in black though. So in love with it. I'm kinda over the Raptor now, with the new V6. I don't care that it's fast as hell and gets better mileage than the 6.2...it sounds like a$$. It's not that it's a V6 either - the new Ford GT sounds absolutely bada$$!!! Why couldn't they make the Raptor sound like that??

I know even with the sticker of the trucks, no one would ever pay that, but even so, $12k off $76k is still a pretty dang penny for a pickemup truck!
