I'm a former Mercedes Benz Service Writer....there can be good dealerships but it's a combination of a good service writer who is interested in solving your problem AND has some mechanical aptitude himself...and a mechanic who can think through a problem. Both of these are extremely rare anymore in a dealership.
The problem is two fold....A: 99% of the service writers out there have never turned a wrench themselves....B: They don't pay to keep good talent in the form of mechanics so they hire cheaper help and they end up throwing parts at your car until it's fixed and expect you to pay for it.
We had a Subaru here a few weeks ago that the local dealer had a service writer ACTUALLY tell the customer they didn't know what the problem was and that they would have to "just start putting parts on it until it was fixed".

just stinks...When I was looking for my focus I went to 2 dealerships, one in Jersey that literally saw me as a bag of money and didn't work with me at all...then went to one out in East Long Island that actually treated me like a person and genuinely helped without an attitude ...
I agree some dealerships are worth going to but others should have a stay far away sign!

I've gone to them since I had my '08 and have been treated right. They even gave me the Fusion as a loaner and they didn't have to do that. But yeah, it does depend on the mechanic they assign the job to. My car is kinda unique to them too, so they remember me when I come in.

Only other one I've tried was Deep Eddy when the store was out of Firefly a while back. It has a much stronger tea flavor, but not as sweet. Plus it had a lot of sediment that settled in the bottom of the bottle. May have been the honey (its sweetened with it). It was pretty good, but I went back to the Firefly even though it was $10 more.
