Saw a bone stock 04 Cobra today come by the house (which is pretty rare). Have seen it before, even talked to the guy a couple times at the store. I really like that car, he doesn't really seem to know much about what it is, but he does know a little about Mustangs.

Been kind of torn lately, have thought about selling the 70' and buying something like a Fox Saleen or a Terminator to drive more, something sort of rare. I just don't get any enjoyment out of the 70', actually I'm on edge every time I get it out. Every time I drive it I'm terrified that someone on a cellphone will hit me or something will happen to it. Scared to drive it at all.

I think I'm about ready to buy something later and just drive the **** out of it.

I have a little bit of both with the 14. On one hand it's so perfect because it's brand new. On the other, I can't help driving the **** out if it! It just begs for more and more revs. Such a naughty girl. "Daddy chirp second! Daddy chirp THird!! Daddy chirp FOURTH!!!!!!!"

Yeah, that's not the same. Think about having a '70 Sports Roof that has been in the family for over 40 years. Uncle bought it new, dad bought it from him in '72 as our family car (yeah, wanted the Mustang as a family car, gave up his 64 Galaxie 2-door hardtop with the solid lifter Police Interceptor 390 with 3 deuces and a 4 speed), grew up with the car, was an every day driver when I was a kid, to school, camp, dad to work, etc. first car I ever drove, sat in my dad's lap as a little boy and drove it as he worked the pedals. Then fully restored from the ground up by me and my dad when I was young, then passed to me, now I'm afraid to take it out because of idiots on cell phones that might hit me and **** it up.

I know what you mean though, but yes not the same at all. I kinda mean I feel like it's the 70, when the 70 was new. It's the car my son is going to grow up with ya know? The car that's probably going to ruin him for being responsible for driving too fast when he grows up, spending too much money on mods, etc etc

I couldn't sell a car that had that much family history to it. I know what you mean about someone screwing it up on the roads, but who's not to say the new owner wouldn't do the same?

Why don't you drive the GT500?

Random, but I watch ID channel a lot and it leads me to several questions: how can someone be so mean? And how the f*** can you kill a mother and/or a child? Or innocent people? Just sayin.

Awesome! I bet Charlie would be a really cool guy to hang out and drink with, if he could keep up. Hate to drink someone under the table.

That pic just reminded me, I saw an '01 Bullitt come by the house the other day. It was pristine, beautiful. Never seen it around here before. No offense to Charlie, but I'd love to have one of them, just like it better than the latest one.

What do you guys think? Don't really like that its not completely stock and would like lower miles.

Funny you should ask. Drove it today actually.

I usually drive it around New Years and July 4th. I was a week late this year.
