I think its well written. I might add in the word witness here somewhere.
Perhaps "Since two of us were at the meter watching the time increase as we paid for parking, my friend was a witness that there was more than sufficient time available on the meter."
PS: Do you remember what time you left the spot? Did you by chance see time remaining on the meter? Did you pay for lunch by card with maybe a time stamp on receipt?

I don't know what time we left but it was less than an hour. It's a mom and pop BBQ place so you get served pretty quick since the meat is already done and coming from the smoker. We each paid our own meal this time so I did cash. If I have to appeal further and need times, I can always check with the restaurant to see if their register stores all the receipts.

shows the plane's descent was slower than normal before the crew called for more acceleration and another chance to land.
If the descent was slower than normal, why would the plane be low enough to hit the seawall? Wouldn't it be too high to land?

Some people are theorizing that they mis-adjusted the altimeter. Maybe they bumped an adjuster **** and didn't realize it until it was too late.

Beautiful places everywhere. Mississippi has casinos and that's it. Louisiana is nothing to look at until you get off the highways. Texas is boring as hell. You guys have a gorgeous state.
