Back from the People's Republic of Maryland....OweMalley has ruined that state. It has got to be one of the biggest revenue driven states out there right now. Red light cameras everywhere, police out in force....gas tax and increased tolls went into effect July 1st(thanks to O'Malley robbing the transportation fund)....they charged me $18 to cross the Bay Bridge! That was $6 for the truck, $6 for the trailer and even charged me $6 for the car ON the trailer!!! I feel sorry for my friends who still live there...glad I left when I did, that state is going down the toilet fast!

The car on the trailer sounds exceedingly excessive. If that makes sense LOL....

Man that's terrible about that train crash/explosion in Canada. 40 people still missing.

Yeah, For that kind of money I'll just drive around through Delaware the long way. I knew I was about to get toll raped when the guy in the booth looked out and said "ouch". Anytime I am forced to go to MD from here out I will go out of my way to avoid tolls and avoid buying fuel there....time I planned ahead and took 20 gallons of diesel with me from cheaper states so that I wouldn't have to buy any there and pay their new gas tax. I feel sorry for gas stations near state lines, people will just go to neighboring states to buy gas and those business owners suffer. Then you have the new "Rain tax"....MD residents are getting screwed every way they turn.

Dang, it just keeps getting more and more convoluted with this plane crash.
Asiana Airlines said Monday that the pilot in control of a Boeing 777 that crashed at San Francisco International Airport Saturday had little experience flying it and was landing one for the first time at that airport, while the city's fire chief said there is a "possibility" that one of two passengers killed was run over by a rescue vehicle rushing to aid victims.

Rates just went up July 1st.

But the good news is that since it is a round trip fee, you only had to pay once

Or you could always just stay at your in-laws the entire time and not cross the bridge

Just sayin'

He'd probably pay triple to avoid that.

It does seem like a small price to pay once you put things in perspective, doesn't it?

Really?
Really Wall Street Urinal's "Marketwatch"??
What used to be a great money site when it hit the net, has now become nothing but a tabloid since WSJ took over.
And the current leading headline is about b i l i l i o n??? On a money site???
Modern reporters... What trash!

‘Great Rotation’ wipes out $120 bililion of bond wealth
