When I had my '89 GT I had several winters where she was my DD. I just put winter tires on a set of spare rims and threw some weight in the back and drove it like a grandma. Got everywhere I had to go.

Been there....very nice. It was warm enough when I was there last to rent a boat and spent a few hours out on the lake.
If you are hungry when you pass Frostburg, Duncans Bar and Grill had good Chili....but granted I was a hungry and often drunk college student so my memory might be clouded

I'm sure we will pass right by Frostburg and not stop until we get to Deep Creek. I'm taking a 1/2 day so we don't get stuck on 70 in all that Fredneck rush hour traffic. But maybe some other time we can check it out. We always take that exit when we go riding, but we head the other way toward Westernport.

They used to be a place called the Depot there that was an old train station...food was great but I think I heard it closed up.

I'm afraid my power is going to get knocked out. The wind is freakin' ripping here, and as wet as the ground is trees are barely hanging on. Already heard a couple fall out in the woods.

First time seeing that? It is pretty cool. We were having a white out last year and that was the only thing helping us see the road.
We could go out on the water....if we borrowed our friends sled. He takes it up there all the time to ride across the lake. Too cold for me though. Not interested in the least!
