Dang it Lee! I turned to that Africa thing just in time to see a baby elephant die. I hate that crap!

I did notice however that female elephants have ***** - not udders.

I hated that. But it was touching that she stayed there with it until it was gone, even though she lost the pack. Fascinating animals, its mind boggling how tender and gentle they are when touching and caring for a little one while they are so massive. The bonds they share with each other is astounding, so many human qualities.

I saw a show one time about an elephant that had been separated for about 30 years from one that it grew up with, and when they were reunited they went charging toward each other and bellowing and nuzzling each other for hours. Wouldn't leave each other's side.

And if you want to read a real tear jerker, but touching story, read this one.

Did you get to see the whole thing? I only saw the end of it. Weird because I never watch that channel, I just happened to stop there while I was flipping though and that one was on.

That was cool. (like the whales in that movie with the libtard ****** stayed until the baby died.) Makes me think I've seen this before though...

I can't believe this - on Retro channel at 10.50pst is the movie "Sacred Ground". That was filmed all around me back in the 80's. Stars Jack Elam so you get an idea of the type of movie - not too much action or anything.
But it created quite a stir around here. Jack stayed at a cabin at a nearby resort and my wife waited on him every morning at the restaurant. One of the nearby cabins was used for the Trading Post. Some nice local scenery and a bit about a local tribe. But kind of a slow western type movie with B actors. They say HD - but we'll see... lol

Its a new series. I kept thinking the narrator sounded familiar, then the credits caught my eye at the end tonight and its Forest Whitaker.

And here's that other story I was mentioning above about the two that had been separated.

The video is online, but I know you can't watch many.

Hey Erich,
Do you have to take a drivers test in Germany to be on the Autobahn? Someone here at work thought that it was required? I don't know these things never been out of the good old USA other than Canada.

I had to take a test to get my license through the base here. Not quite the same as a local license, but works just as well. Pretty sure if you are visiting you can drive for up to 30 days on your stateside license. Can always get an international license from AAA for around $10.
