Do you usually visit around the same time of the year? Cruisin Week is usually mid May and Carlisle the beginning of June.....usually around the same time every year. Maybe next time you can plan better 
Well, hopefully you will at least have some crab pots out on the boat. They are supposed to be plentiful this year

One of these years I just want a real vacation....it's good to see family but not much of a "vacation" that way. I want to get down to Destin or Gulf Shores...haven't even been there in 5 years and it's only less than 4 hours away...

Crap, I just realized I forgot the other Dually so I had to update the sig again...I forget I have 2 since they are both identical other than transmission. Time to start shock therapy again...I don't have enough fingers and toes to count all this crap.

No, it varies...last time was Christmas....I have to work around the wife's work which doesn't allow end of month because they are so busy at that time each month. We have been trying to get up during warm weather for the boat for 2 years and just now finally getting there. My brother doesn't bother with crabbing(I used to growing up), he fishes....does well with Rockfish...which usually gets stuffed with crab(great, now I'm drooling on myself!).
One of these years I just want a real vacation....it's good to see family but not much of a "vacation" that way. I want to get down to Destin or Gulf Shores...haven't even been there in 5 years and it's only less than 4 hours away...

I'm not a big fish eater, but I do eat it when my husband brings it home from his fishing trips. Put enough Old Bay on it and it doesn't taste fishy at all. Not that rockfish is a fishy fish anyway. Stuffed with crab....even better. Crab imperial is my favorite....oh, and cream of crab soup
Dang it, all this crab talk, now my chef salad I have for dinner is just not going to hit the spot.

I drove a Nissan Leaf on Saturday, it was pretty cool. The best part was driving through a Valero station to turn around. At $4/gallon the owner is getting the equivalent of 75mpg. He opened the hood, Nissan made the electronics box look like a small transverse mount 4cyl engine
