See if I moved to Maryland for any reason a perk would have been getting away from Alabama fans

Speaking from experience...be careful what you wish for

He would be VERY lucky if that was all he had to worry about. 1 day in any sort of Baltimore or DC traffic and Scothew would have a vein burst in his forehead and snap.

Scothew....Traffic up there at 3am on either beltway is worse than rush hour on 280 and to top that off you will feel like you are dying a slow painful death having to follow the lower speed limits and they have a LOT more troopers than we do here

I was in DC a few weeks ago and what my GPS estimated to be a 10 minute drive to the destination point turned into an hour. I was ready to get out and walk to the hotel.

I have that Battle of Goliad plate on my Honda Element. Unfortunately no one has come and taken the car

So you should imagine what's going on right now. Two months of road closures on the JFX. I'm so thankful I don't work downtown.

Lucky for me, I only get on 695 and only have to go one exit. The traffic can be ridiculous. On the other hand, my husband drives to DC and northern VA every day....better him than me

I've been gone since '02 and you couldn't pay me to move back....I have to go back in June and when I hit Richmond traffic(if migrates further south each year) my wife says I'm like Jekyl & Hyde. I got my masters degree in Road Rage from so many years dealing with Mid Atlantic traffic....so many stupid people with drivers licenses up there!

I still hold 2 land speed records up there though.....Meadowlands in New Jersey Outside NYC to Downtown Baltimore, MD in 2 hours 40 minutes('89 Thunderbird Super Coupe) and MD state line to VA state line through Washington DC...New York Ave, Left on 9th street, right on Constitution ave....15 minutes flat!(Lincoln Mark VII LSC) Cops were too busy dealing with murders to run radar

VA really sucks for ticketing. I'm not sure how far over the speed limit you have to go, but they ticket you for reckless driving and you have to hire (if you are smart) an attorney to go to court for you. You can't just pay the ticket. It is a criminal offense.

Scott would probably be ok in Fredneck, lol!

My bad......it's actually called Frederick

Actually it's not bad at all. It's just more rural and a lot more farms. But there are plenty of communities too. The area has built up a lot though over the past years. So many people commute from there to DC for work. Oh, and there's a local drag strip not far from there too
