Gary, I've lived here sincce I was 7 years old. I remember my first home well enough, but I never really got to "know" the neighborhood, being so young and all.
I don't even get it. Even my newest neighbors are wonderful people. In fact, the new ones are probably the nicest ones in the culdesac. I also udnerstand the money flow here. This sort of thing never happens where my friends live. *sigh*
Jill, that is an absolutely terrible story... I'm sorry. I am grateful that this wasn't as bad as it could have been, but that doesn't make me any less pissed off.

Arin, I forgot to tell you your avatar is way cool!
I haven't seen the movie yet, I can guarantee I will love it though. I'm definitely a RDjr fan. I'm waiting for blue-ray so I can watch in home theater. For same reasons as you experienced above, I hate going to movies here anymore. It's much, cleaner, colder, safer, and far less smelly in our own theater.
P.S. If you haven't ever seen Less Than Zero, check it out. Kind of a late 80's brat pack movie but far edgier with Robert Downey Jr, Andrew McCarthy, James Spader, and Jami Gertz. A definite must see for SoCal teenager life in the late 80's.

OK one more. What other state in the union, besides the former Republic of Texas would tell George W. Bush, the corrupt Mexican Government, the World Court, and millions of bleeding heart liberals, F*CK YOU!!! and actually execute a disgusting piece of scum the way the people of Texas provided for. This guy was scum. Two beautiful innocent young girls were raped, tortured, and killed by this scum and his scum brethren. I don't care what country you are from or what loophole you try to hide behind, we will enforce our laws here. And if ordered by a jury, we will put you to death. So forget you George Bush and forget you the people of Mexico that threatened "protests" if this execution went through. Bring it on.
On the way home when the radio announced that Mexico threatened riots if we executed this scum, I said oh they're definitely going to do it now. You don't threaten Texas. You just don't. Thank God I live in about the only sane place on earth. We still have crime, but we'll take care of you eventually. Maybe 15 years later, but we'll get to you.

I know this is serious stuff folks, but as a father of 5 young, innocent, beautiful girls I feel it is my one duty above all else in my life to keep their innocence as long as I am on this earth. I'm here to protect them from this scum and all the scum of this world. It is sometimes an unbearable burden to be always vigilant and perfect in judgement. I pray every night for the strength to protect them and keep them safe. If I die knowing that I protected them from this evil I will be at peace no matter what else I have done. I hope you all feel the same way about your loved ones, because from this vigilance and determination we can overcome this all too cruel world. I can't imagine the pain and torture those girls went through as they cried out for help, I am so angry and tearful just thinking about it. I hope they found peace in heaven and that this ******* burns in hell!!!

Well, I've come to the conclusion that job hunting sucks. Filing for unemployment absolutely sucks.
I've never had to do that before. I have a job interview tomorrow morning and I'm nervous because I haven't been on a job interview in 12 looooooooooong years. But at least I have an interview. It would be a big pay cut, but it's only 13 miles away, so it's pretty close to home.
