Thanks. I already have one in my trunk, but I wanted another one. I'm also gonna get a 500watt alpine amp, and wire them parallel. I also need to get a new box. Here's the one I already have. It barely fits.

I've have a sub sitting in the basement for years but never used it. 18 inch Infinity I think.

I hope your interview goes well Jill. Best of luck.

Jill,

Best of Luck. Knock 'em dead in that interview. Get this job and I bet before you know it something better will pop up that pays the same or more than what you were getting before. And before you know it all will be good again.

I finally made my trunk lid mat today. My dad cut it out, and I put on the carpet. It really wasn't too hard, and it looks great. I still need to recover my amp rack with the same carpet.

I pondered the thought of putting it in the spare wheel tub. But I still need an amp. and wood and wood working tools and the ambition.

Yep that does look great.

Should I put some carpet on that blue part just above the rack?

I say yes. I don't know how hard it would be to do, but as an outside opinion that blue looks like a different color just above the rack than the rest of the trunk. It looks almost teal colored in picture. Did they just not put alot of paint on it at factory?

Anyway I did notice that before but didn't want to be a d*** and say anything. If you can do it, I would certainly try.

It's actually the original color. ( medium shadow blue metallic) The body shop that painted my car didn't do inside the trunk, and that part shows. I think I could just cut a strip, and wrap it around the part that hangs down. I just need to find something good to attach it with.

How heavy is that carpet? Would some 3M Photo Mount spray work? It comes in an aerosol can next to spray paint or glue in Lowe's or at a hobby shop. You spray it on and then stick stuff to it. Its not all thick an gooey like hot glue and such. I used it before to mount some mat material to prints and its held all these years even in hot storage.
