I was waiting on an intersection when suddenly a brand new Corolla was hit by a Ranger really hard, so hard that the Toyota turned 180 deg while it ripped my front bumper w the right headlamps and smashed the left one w the header panel, bumper reinforcement and a chunk of the hood . Fortunately, nobody got hurt, but the Ranger's driver abandoned it before the police arrived. The Ranger belonged to a private company and the owners were contacted. The truck apparently was used by an unauthorized person who was working on the owner's house. The kid was so scared (maybe caused by my "not so friendly" language) that he went running to his house and then to the truck's owner's place. Luckily, their insurance will cover the damage of the vehicles.
Now, I have to wait 'till Monday to contact the Insurance Co. and get an estimate.
Time for a Cobra R or Stalker hood and bumper

Wow Eduardo that bites! Definitely need to upgrade the hood now. Something good has to come of this.

Holy crapola dude, that just plain sucks! On the bright side though, you mentioned an R hood and a stalker nose. I'd go R all the way if it was me, but it sounds like you now have an excuse for the body mods you want

I haven't got any sleep at all, cuz I went to bed at about 4:30 am due to some spasm that wasn't going away very easily due to the crash, I presume. It runs to the chest and then transforms into a headache. When I finally fell asleep, the stupid dog starts barking non-stop at about 9:00 am.
I'm hungry, sleepy and grumpy. I'm doing my laundry right now on top of that

Well, I guess I'll start looking for parts to repair the front end.
I found this already. Seems a good deal at $600, but the shipping cost will determine that.

More sad stuff. I just saw this yesterday, and thought it was one of the best looking II's I've ever seen. And now look what happens...

Good morning everyone.

Cart update. I really suck at painting with a sprayer. Ran out of paint. The only auto paint supply store closed at 1:00 Saturday and I got there at 1:15. Plus I realize now I'm gonna have to paint the underside of the wheel wells because they are visible. Oh well.

Dad update. My father walked over to my house Saturday night. He is feeling really good. We still have our fingers crossed because evidently pneumonia is a big concern, but he has no signs of anything wrong.

Mustang update. Back in her home. Drove her Saturday night and showed her off to all my in-laws yesterday. Everyone was amazed at what could be done with some internet ordered parts and accessories.
