It's in the programming of the remote though. The tv isn't responding to it's signal. Messing inside of it won't fix it.

Yeah the power button can be a ***** on the TV. I've had that problem before. I just used the remote.
How big is the TV?
Maybe you can take it to UPS. Ship it to a friend. Get it insured. And then make a claim once it arrives saying its damaged.
That's what Kramer suggested to Jerry once. It almost worked until Newman found half naked pictures of George and a male photomat worker in addition to Jerry working on his borken stereo.

Ibuprofen is the only thing that can get rid of a headache for me. It's doing nothing for my neck though. I put some heat on it, and that helped some, but it still isn't much better. What's really gonna suck is having to carry around my 30lb. backpack all day tomorrow. 
Funny, aspirin is the only thing that works on headaches for me. But ibu works for muscle pulls/spasms once I get ahead of it. And as much as I hate ice... I don't think heat is not your friend right now. Gotta do the frozen pea/icebag thing... brrrr!!!!

Hey Nathan, did you try this? Just try it with the TV turned off, it should still work. I know in the past it always has for me.
You can search for your remote codes here, just so long as you can still see the remote model #.
IDK give it a try, I bet the remote just lost the programing for the TV.
If none of that works i'm pretty sure you can get a new universal remote for $15-$20. Or you could get one like this. It's what I have and it's sick, just plug it into your computer and program away.
